Well its been a long time since I have posted here. We have been busy with racing and also involved with our club www.portlandkarting.com in track improvements and general upkeep. I've have been active with the IKF as Board of Director member along with helping with the IKF Region 6 Gold Cup Sprint and Road Race. Our club PKA has joined forces with Pat's Acres Racing Complex to run the Oregon State Karting Championship Series consisting of 5 races at our Track in McMinnville and 5 races at Pats Acres for a great race series.

On the Kartstands front we have been busy with some new items that is for every racer.

We will be introducing several new products for 2012

1. An economical scissors stand called the Rickshaw stand it uses 2 wheels is more compacted when folded. While lighter in weight since removing 2 wheels it is more sturdy than our Scissors Stand and is lower priced to save the racer cash.
2. We have been in development in building a new style vertical stand that will allow keeping the new CIK Rear bumpers in place making storage simpler and easier than ever.
3. The Valvejust now comes with an 1/8" and 4mm allen wrenches so you can adjust the new style and old style valve lashes on the Animal and World Formula engines.  click HERE for a video demonstration.
4. Many racers don't know for certain if thier 4 stroke engine is in need of an engine rebuild. Mike's Kartstands have developed a cylinder leak down kit for all overhead valve karting engines. Stay tuned and we will have a video and more information.
